Whats the burn time of your candles?

Due to the different wax weights of each candle, their burn times vary.

We love embedding details on the tops of our candles to make them super unique! Sometimes these embeds take up space in the jar and result in a lower overall wax weight. The lower the net weight, the lower the burn time.

Please refer to each candle's individual product listing for their approximate burn times.

Shipping/Return Policy

  • When will I receive my order:

We work diligently to get your order out the door to you! Please allow 3-5 business days for the processing of your order. This means that it will be 3-5 business days to start to see tracking on your order. Once it is with the shipping carrier (USPS or UPS) shipping times vary based on the shipping method. You can find your tracking number in your order email.

  • How much will it cost to ship my order?

Shipping costs depend on how much you order, where you live, and which shipping method you choose. You will see the shipping costs before you finalize your purchase.

  • Can I cancel my order?

Totally! If your order has not yet been marked as "In-Progress" or "Shipped." Send us a message at support@clayhousecandles.com or via our "Contact" section. We will process a cancellation of your full order including any taxes, fees, and shipping. Once a shipping label has been purchased for your candle(s) it is already on its way to the post office and we cannot honor any cancellations or returns.

  • Can I change the shipping carrier?

Currently Clay House Candles processes orders through UPS and the USPS. If you prefer one over the other, shoot us a message BEFORE your order is marked as "Shipped." If your order is already marked as shipped, that means we have already selected a shipping option and we are unable to switch the shipping carrier.

  • What payment methods are available?

We accept a variety of debit and credit cards to make your shopping experience as seamless as possible! From Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, American Express, Apple Pay, Discover Card, Google Pay, etc. We even accept Shop for payments over $50 USD.

  • Can I switch the address for my order?

We are not responsible for your order being shipped to the incorrect address provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for providing the correct address when placing their order. 

If you have any urgent matter and need to request an address change, please message us via our "Contact" section or through support@clayhousecandles.com. If your order is already marked as "In Progress," address change is not guaranteed. If your order is marked as "Shipped," it has already been dropped off at the post office and we will be unable to change your mailing address. Please contact the shipping carrier and request an interception of your package.

  • Do you ship internationally?

Clay House Candles currently only ships in the domestic United States.

My candle(s) arrived damaged. What should I do?

Oh no! :( Please email us at info@clayhousecandles.com with your order number plus a picture of the damaged item and we will get back to you ASAP. 

Solutions vary, but in most cases Clay House Candles will provide you with a full refund, store credit, or ship a replacement of the exact item purchased.

Claims for damaged or missing items must be reported immediately or within seven days of delivery.

Where can I buy candles in-person?

Clay House Candles mainly sells online. However, during cooler months, you can find us at in-person pop ups in the Austin area. Click here to find out where we're vending next!

You can also buy third party from us at any one of our wholesale locations. This list changes often and there is no guarantee that our products will be in stock at these locations at any given time.

What are your candles made of?

Our candles are made of a proprietary soy/paraffin wax base. We specially blend in high quality fragrance oils from locally sourced vendors. The majority of our supplies are from Texas! We only use cotton and zinc wicks, and there is zero trace of lead in our products.

All embeds and candle decor are always made of 100% candle wax. We will never put anything in a candle that is flammable or unsafe. So feel free to light up your new candle and get cozy, knowing that you and your home are in safe hands.

We do not offer wholesale prices to customers or anyone without a Sales and Use Tax ID.
